Art Storyteller!

That’s right, I tell stories through art using many different forms of artistic mediums. From simple pencil drawings to paintings, photography and collage to name a few. I have learned to let art breathe life into my words.

How does one become an Art Storyteller? For me, it began in Kindergarten. My Teacher walked by as I was drawing a dinosaur learning to read. She loved my piece so much that she walked me around the school to show and tell every Teacher what I created. She framed and hung it in my classroom! From that moment on, I knew telling stories with art was what I wanted to do.

I read every book I could get my hands on

I drew and drew then drew some more. When I ran out of paper, I practiced on my neighbors and friends by selling “tattoos”; Drawings done by none other then… ME! I used markers and went door to door.

Weirdly enough, I actually made a little money doing it. SO… I guess you can say I’ve been a paid artist for almost my entire life!

Now, here I am! Finally I’m putting the stories and characters that have filled my head all these years into books. All storytellers yield a powerful sword. We have the ability to tell stories that make an impact. I am learning to write about what is important to me and what makes me laugh till my sides hurt. I am also learning to make photography that tells a story and are extensions of my art works. This is my very crooked road that led me back to my first love, Art Storytelling! I made it back for my second chapter. I’m overjoyed to be here and to share all my loves with you!
